Today I saw beauty on both sides of the history rich Danube.

The stunning artworks of old, from Renaissance masters to Baroque artists was more than my mind could hold. Glass may have separated me from Dürer’s hand, and from Da Vinci’s casting (neither are confirmed), and I was up close and personal with Raphael, Rubens, and people in the circle of Rembrandt. It makes me want to look into and learn about these amazing artists, but I’ll take a fly by look for today.

We also took over two hundred steps up to catch a glimpse of Fisherman’s Bastion… the workout was more than worth it.

And our little area nearby is just lovely, all on its own…
